A door to door salesman gets lost and is helped back on the right path by the hands of a small town.
Description of the project
Foot Soldier is a Jon Bryant Crawford short film. Inspired by the literature of the South, Jon's door to door days, and the stories of close friends, this is a Southern Gothic film, about taking joy in the little things.
A fusion of time periods help to establish a unique setting for this dark comedy shot in rural America.
The project is a 2nd year narrative project at the UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television where Jon pursues his MFA in Film Directing.
Shot on location in Little Rock, Arkansas. Principal photography wrapped in late March. With an unbelievable cast of talented and distinguished actors, a superb crew, and a breathtaking landscape, Jon could not be happier with the film that returned him home.
The project is currently being submitted to film festivals world wide.
